Frequently asked questions
- Where is my data stored?
-
Everything you log stays on your device. Crestly has no account and
does not upload your training, nutrition, supplement, or wellness data.
See our Privacy Policy for details.
- How do I remove ads?
-
Open Settings inside the app and tap "Remove Ads" for a one-time
purchase. If you reinstall or switch devices, tap "Restore Purchases"
to restore it for free.
- Does Crestly work with Apple Health?
-
Yes. With your permission it reads your daily activity to show
alongside your training and writes your completed workouts back to
Apple Health. You control this in the iOS Health app.
- How does barcode scanning work?
-
Point your camera at a food barcode and Crestly looks it up in the
Open Food Facts public database to pre-fill nutrition. Only the barcode
number is sent; no personal data.
- How do I export or delete my data?
-
You can export your full history as JSON or Markdown from within the
app, and delete your data from the app's settings. Deleting the app
also removes all on-device data.
- I lost my data after an update — why?
-
During early versions, some updates that change the data format may
reset on-device data. If this affects you, contact us and we'll help.
